New York Ska Jazz Ensemble

Further to the hundreds of concerts they have performed worldwide, The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble return with a new album recorder by Brixton records. Still in their line of making Jamaican rhythms from a jazz perspective, the band brings back those melodies that made them be nº 1 in modern Jamaican jazz music. In their new album "Skaleidoscope", the band has again covered Jazzs Reggae rhythms. They have once more nourished themselves from a wide range of roots music such as Soul, R&B, Swing.. Among the many collaborations that have fed this record, the most outstanding one is that of the queen of current Newyorican soul, "Sharon Jones" with her terrific gospel voice.
